Raised on the farm by her late grandparents, Maddison wanted to capture the essence of Sharneakia’s childhood before welcoming her first child. The farm provided the perfect backdrop, with each mini-photoshoot designed to preserve those special memories. We photographed her in the paddock, on the veranda where her grandparents used to sit, by the washing line her grandmother spent so much time at, and near the mailbox at the end of the long driveway. Sharneakia also posed with her horse among the lemon trees, sipped tea in her grandmother's kitchen like they used to, rummaged through vintage Weet-Bix boxes that contained every other cereal, and even standing in front of her childhood bedroom door—each moment steeped in nostalgia and love.
